Last summer, I decided to finally jump in and have this vintage twin-lens camera tattooed on my forearm. I had been dreaming about it long enough to make sure I wouldn’t have an ounce of regret, and I haven’t. I honestly thought getting used to it would have taken longer. Along with this recent addition to my body came a slight personal style adaptation. Heavy printed patterns like all over florals just don’t fit anymore, so I prefer going for more elegant flowy silky fabrics, embroidery textured pieces, soft patterns or classic plain t-shirts.
Lately, Sammy Dress kindly sent me this flattering embroidered lace blouse, and I couldn’t dream of a better piece to dress up a comfy office outfit. I paired it with the most comfortable jeggings in the whole world (if you guys think jeans are cozy, you probably never slipped in a pair of those), and my favorite cut-out flats from a Montreal-based vintage shop called 1861.
I’ve had an ongoing crush on that ring ever since I bought it with Roxane. It has such a joyful vibe, don’t you agree? (I wore it for that style post as well, remember?).
I am really pleased with my new Kate Spade frames as well. From the moment I tried them on, I just knew I couldn’t find any better for my everyday eyewear. Out of the three available colors, I picked tortoise because it’s a little lighter than massive black on my narrow face and they still match every thing I wear!
