From my closet / sequin crush

I don’t know exactly when that happened, but I’ve had a gigantic crush on sequin for a while now. I am fascitated by them, by their color, and how they reflect light in such a special way. One day, I was shopping with Roxane and she held that awesome mint sequin cardigan in my face and told me it was made for me. She was right I guess, it’s now one of my favorite pieces in my whole closet. Paired with one of my favorite pattern skirt and a pastel pink cami, it looks awesome. And I knew right away that was the outfit I was waiting for to wear those ruffle socks in my black wedges! YAY!

Now, if spring can only show up so I can pair those lovely socks with my summer dresses! I just CAN’T WAIT!

What to wear / Easter brunch

I know I have been missing out like crazy these days. Mika and I recently adopted a new puppy that we called Terreur (can’t wait to show you guys her cute tiny face!! ), and I’ve sick in bed for days. Something that makes me feel a constant dizziness. I don’t mean to complain about it here, but I’ve been missing you guys! I’m glad I can finally take few minutes to write a post. So before Easter week-end, I thought, why not get inspired with all of those pastel shades that have already invaded the shopping malls, and create two outfits that will rock your Easter brunch! Since I have a major crush on rose gold lately, the first outfit would be my first pick, but that mint Kate Spade watch could really fit my wrist!

While were about to have another (and hopefully last) snowstorm, I am dreaming about springtime like crazy. This seasons comes with so much joy, light, and wonderful shades, like yellow. This color screams happiness to me! And have you seen the new Kate Spade brand; Saturday? It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Makes me want to color my life all shades of bright yellow. Today, I have brought together two new outfits on a family-dinner theme for you. ‘Cause even if your family have probably seen you in your worst days, doesn’t mean you don’t have to dress up for them. I don’t see my family so often now that I’m grown up, so when I do, I love to leave a good impression in my best clothes. Can you feel how excited I am about Spring coming soon? I just can’t wait to trade my boots for heels!

From my closet / feeling boyish

There are days I would just sneak into my boyfriend’s closet and dress and his loose clothes all day. But somehow, the shape of a man and a woman’s body aren’t the same. That’s why I bought my own (right size) crew neck hoodie, and made a boyish look with it. I’ve been a fan of Glamour Kills clothing for quite a while. I’ve wore this hoodie more than you could imagine, actually. But now that I found this metal edge collar shirt for less than 20 dollars, I am totally in love with this outfit.

And those booties! Seriously, you have no idea how much red attracts strangers eyes until you wear a pair of shoes like that. It’s insane. And I have never gotten more compliments in a single day !

Pinning lately / light pink

I’ve talked about it a lot. I’ve annoyed Mika with it too. I WANT light pink hair. Alright? And I am so not doing it because my natural color is dark. hhrrr ! I not about to end my complaint about it, so today I am showing some of the pins that inspired me that light pink obsession I’ve been dealing with lately! Isn’t this color soothing? Makes me want to bake cupcakes and wrap myself in a blanket for a day or two.

Is there anything more comforting that a warm wool sweater on lazy weekend days? Now, don’t be afraid to take it out. Simply pair it with shorts and knee-high sock to upgrade its lazy look. And don’t fear accessories, like this huge golden necklace I would wear with almost any of my outfits. It feels great to invest in things you can mix and match in a thousand ways. And really, there’s nothing like a pop of pink on neutral tones.

You know I’m in the social media much, right? Some of them get more attention from me than others, according to my needs. It is the case with Pinterest. I’ve been on it for a little while and I can’t get enough of going through the boards and how-charming images. When I need a little kick of inspiration, I settle for a little Pinterest break, and few minutes later, my brain is spinning on new ideas and inspiration. It feels right.
