You might have noticed, I have a thing for bright colors. When I found that online shop called LEIF, I was gasping at every link I clicked. All those colorful and absolutely charming items make me want to throw a party everyday. And how cute is that tassel bracelet! WANT WANT WANT!
I’ve told you before about Kate Spade and my infinite love for that brand. I told you also about SATURDAY, the new affordable label by Kate Spade. What I haven’t told you already is my enormous crush on that bag. The weekender bag, by SATURDAY. It is perfect in every way. Big enough to carry your stuff for a weekend, and cute enough to take everywhere! Plus, there’s a hidden shoe compartment under! Brilliant! There’s also a smaller version of it, here (in the cutest shade of pink!). Now, look at those lovely patterns and tell me you’re not in love with this awesome bag :

Sometimes, I can get pretty obsessed about something. Lately, my obsession has been that color. A mix between green and yellow with a soft touch of brownish. It’s just such a happy summery shade, and it pairs so well with purple and fuschia. Now I want chartreuse everything! Chartreuse dresses, chartreuse shorts, chartreuse shoes! I’m even dying to taste that chartreuse ice cream cone! Do you also get obsessed with a color sometimes?

In the city where I live, there aren’t tons of speciality gourmet shops. There are a few, but this one is definitely my favorite. It’s a tiny little pinkish space where they sale delicious bite-size cupcakes (therefore the name of the shop, Minuscule, which is tiny in french). The first thing that caught my heart was the girly decor, but the taste of their sweet treats is quite convincing as well. I thought a girly outfit was the perfect pair for that occasion. This little black dress is an essential from my closet. The ruffles gives it a little funkyness, but no too much, so I can wear it on a more dressed-up event, depending on how I accessorize it. With a more casual look like this one, a tiny belt and pattern tights did just fine. And Isn’t that bag the cutest of all? Chloe gave it to me for Christmas. Yes, my sister-in-law is a real pearl when she wants to!

Sometimes, starting off a new week is quite challenging. Sometimes you’d rather stay under the blanket for a few more days. When you finally decide to get up, the last thing you want is to dress up in something tight and uncomfortable. You wanna dress lazy, but still look like a lady. Here I am today, showing you two outfits I prepared for days like this. Time to let your jogging pants aside!

With the change of season comes along the change of purse. I am using a black one all winter, but when it comes to spring, I am bored with black leather. Last year, I fell deeply in love with that Volcom satchel-style brown purse. This year, I am still calling it my dream bag, guess that’s why i’m gonna use it again as my everyday purse. Today, I wanted to show you what’s in my bag, what I’m bringing with me everywhere I go. Maybe you’re about to switch purse as well and need to get organize about it!
WALLET / Of course! To keep all your cards, bills and money organize, what you need is a good wallet. I’m thinking about switching to a smaller size, but this Roxy wallet is still a charm. I love them with lots of spaces.
NOTEBOOKS + PEN / I’m not leaving home without a notebook and a pen in my purse. In case of sudden insane ideas or list-making emergencies (god knows i’m a list maker!), there is always a piece of paper to write on.
MOBILE + CHARGER / Yes, of course, everyone is carrying his mobile, you say? But I also figured it is the best place to leave my charger. Always at hand when I need it!
SUNGLASSES / Summer time calls for sunny days! I’m taking my favorite Vans sunglasses wherever I go!
CONTACT LENS CASE / For those of you wearing contact lens, you know they can sometimes get pretty uncomfortable. I’m carrying a case filled with clean liquid so I can take them off without wasting them.
HAND CREAM + NAIL FILE / Dry hands is such a pain. That’s why a little tube of handcream is a life saver (mine is Aveda hand relief). And what about a broken nail that gets stuck everywhere! AAARHG. A tiny nail file will do!
MAKE UP ESSENTIAL + LIP BALMS / I don’t carry my whole make up bag with me, but I like to have my very essentials. Like the lipstick or nail polish I’m wearing. Also, lip balm is a purse essential. My two favorites are the classic Burt’s Bees and the very cute EOS balls. (Each gifted by my dear friend Roxane!)
PILLS / Since I’m a migraine victim, I can’t leave home without Advil or Tylenol.
RINGS / CLASSIC JEWELS / There’s always a ring or two in a pocket of my purse. Sometimes a pair of earrings. I like having my classic jewels at hand, when I feel like my outfit is boring !
This is finally it! Good weather is slowly (but surely!) pushing away the bad, and grass is showing up and recovering from the weight of the snow. New season means new goals, new ideas and changes. (Just like a second New Year for me!) Here are some of the things high on my wishlist for spring!
GOLD. You heard me before, I LOVE gold and metalics. I am planning on redecorating some spaces in my appartement adding a touch of gold! That print and those shoes are fantastic!
LIGHTINGS. I am also planning on adding special lights and lamps in my space. I love those bulbs in a cage.
SHOES. This season means trading boots for shoes! Those Keds Kate Spade Edition are simply the cutest! But while the snow is still melting and the ground is muddy, pattern rainboots are a pleasure to wear!
BIRDCAGE UMBRELLA. I’ve been wanting one for so long, but never took the time to look for it. Now it is finally time to be stylish in the rain! (why not make the bad weather feel a little happier?)
BAGS. In the summertime, it’s good to take my camera all around because there is so much to shoot. A good camera bag is something I should really get for that matter. I love those with a vintage look! Also, I love the Baggu reusable bags. They have the cutest pattern and shapes!
PLANTS. Yes, someday I’ll become good at keeping plants. I need a few more of those!
