I did it again. I made a new font! The thing is, I don’t like when letters get lonely, so when I created 5 of them for a client logo that was rejected, I couldn’t stand the idea of my babies getting swallowed in a creative black hole, where all the sad rejected ideas go. So I created the rest of the alphabet, and the rest is history. Hope you enjoy, and I’d be happy to see if you use it!

When I saw this amzing print while scrolling down one of my favorite designer’s blog, Cocorrina, I smiled. I just chopped 7 dear inches off my beloved long hair (which was totally liberating by the way), and my friend called me Taylor-swift-with-tattoos. The decision has been hard to make but hey, if taylor can do it, I can too!
As you guys probably know by now, I am a font/typography addict. I guess I was probably even born to create fonts and explore in that area. So here I am, releasing my second font as a gift to you dear font-lovers and designers of all kind from around the globe. I describe it as a bodoni-inspired statement font as bad ass as glamorous with a serious load of charm. I am releasing it free-for-personal-use so may this be the font you were looking for to showcase your creativity in any way you like. Now, let’s talk about skin perfectors! Have you heard about BB creams? If you never heard about it, BB stands for Beauty Balm. I’ve seen them filling the shelves of all beauty stores, but didn’t know how great it actually was until I got to try The Body Shop’s formula (which by the way, was voted #1 product by canadian consumers!). It’s a white face cream with very tiny pigment-filled capsules that burst when apply to the skin and it’s color-adapting to fit your skin tone! Perfect match and even finish, that’s what we’re talking about! I like that it’s all-in-one, because I tend to forget the face cream and use only foundation. No there’s no excuse for that! And of course, I saved the best for last! One of The Body Shop new release goes beyond hydration or skintone uniformity. I’m talking about Instablur! Instablur is a five-action perfector that leaves your skin flawless and photo-perfect! It reduces the apparence of pores, hides blemishes, controls unpleasant skin shine and unifies complexion. You have to try it to believe it! Simply smooth onto face before applying your foundation and makeup (or use alone to smooth imperfections for a no-makeup look). One of my favorite recent fab find is a colorful polka dot kid shirt at Target! I had been looking at it and wishing they could do it in women size for a while until a friend told me I should just try the largest kid size. It fitted perfectly so I was overjoyed to finally take it home with me! Since it looks a little childish with its neon and glittery dots, I like to pair it with things that make it look classy but playful, like a matching blue blazer, a high-waisted skirt, bight pumps or just a large golden necklace.

Lately, the weather has been reminding me how much rainy days get me down. I read somewhere that I probably suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, resulting in lack of energy and motivation along with a craving for sweets and weight gain. Do any of you feel like that too? Remember my posts about beauty boxes? After being suscribed to Topbox for about 6 months, I decided to try another company I’ve been referred to by a friend; Ipsy. Very similar to all of those beauty box company, delivering beauty products samples to you each month, Ipsy has something more; it’s packaged in a different oh-so-pretty glam bag every time. It costs 16$/bag (shipped to you door) but I can guarantee the products are worth the price! I’ve been more than pleased with every bag so far and I can’t get myself to unsubscribing, even if my drawers are loader with cosmetics. It’s insane! It’s been 7 or 8 months since I received my first glam bag and I wanted to share some of my very favorite products so far!
1. Benefit’s porefessional balm
One word? magical! This awesome product is a pre-foundation balm made to minimize the appearance of pores. The texture is insanely soft and it works like magic on skin! You definitely have to try this.

2. Zoya nailpolish
Believe me, I’ve tried MANY brands of nailpolishes but this one has reached #1 in my heart! Easy to apply, no lumps or bumps and lasts about a week without chipping. I’ve received two shades so far but this soft lilac is my very favorite!

3. Mica shimmer powder
It’s sold as an eye shadow but I use it as a soft glow on my upper cheeks. Simply love the shimmer!

I know I am a little late for this, but hey, we’re still in the first month of 2013, right? This idea came from Noemie of The sun was high. I ended 2012 with zero motivation, but started 2013 with almost too much of it. Which is great. To help me keep motivated about everything I want to achieve, here is my bucket list for the next 11 months and a half. The list isn’t exhaustive, but hopefully it will only be easier to keep those in mind!
